What you need to keep in mind when using magnetic boards:

• When using neodymium magnets on the board, avoid having them get too close to each other. Or else, they could collide and break apart.
• Don’t slide the magnets directly over the surfaces of powder-coated, glass or slate magnetic boards, as this could cause scratches on these types of surfaces.

Comment regarding the term magnetic board

Terms like “magnetic board”, “magnetic pinboard” or “magnet board” are not quite correct. They create the impression that the board itself has magnetic properties – and thus should stick, for example, to steel shelves. But that’s not the case, because it is only ferromagnetic. It means, that the board itself is not a magnet, but instead a suitable surface for magnets. However, because the term “magnetic board” is commonly accepted we are using it for our products too.

We think that magnetic boards are quite useful. Not only because many items can be attached to them with the help of magnets. But mainly due to the fact that magnetic boards can be used as a surface for magnets in many different locations and for many different purposes.
