Features of deep pot magnets

Principle: The strong neodymium magnets are embedded in a steel pot. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnet in direct contact with a thick iron surface. The adhesive force of the deep pot magnet is increased because the steel cylinder focuses its magnetic forces on the holding surface. In addition, the steel pot prevents the deep pot magnet from attracting surrounding ferromagnetic particles or objects. If there is no direct contact with the counterpart, or if the steel plate is thin, painted or rough, you won’t be able to put as much strain on the deep pot holding magnet.

Displacement force: The indicated adhesive force was measured perpendicular to the surface to which the magnet should stick. It takes a lot less strength to move the magnet sideways. Therefore, you won’t be able to put as much strain on a deep pot magnet if you use it on a wall as opposed to using it on the ceiling. Rust: These deep pot magnets are not rust-proof and therefore intended for dry indoor use.

Material: The magnet inside the steel cylinder of the deep pot magnets in our assortment is a neodymium magnet. Neodymium magnets are also referred to as super magnets due to their high adhesive force, but the maximum operating temperature is 80 °C. Possible uses for deep pot magnets

In the industrial sector, deep pot holding magnets are used to attach, secure or transport metal parts and iron objects in manufacturing processes. The magnets can be pressed in, glued in or securely fastened with a threaded pin. However, a maximum distance of a few millimetres to iron surfaces must be maintained, or else the adhesive force of the deep pot magnet will be drastically reduced.
