A magnetic wall just for kids' artwork

Since my child is in daycare, her artwork started to collect all over the flat, but I wanted to display it in a special place instead. We decided on a magnetic wall for her artwork, we call it "kiddy art". We created such a wall in the nursery with white magnetic boards.
I made magnets from leftover wood. Just press a self-adhesive magnetic tape on the backside of the wood. You can even label the wood pieces with a label maker.
From other leftover wood I created little clouds and hearts with a magnetic backside.

Colourful magnetic boards also make great surfaces for the beautiful home-made magnets. Magnetic strips are a slightly more discreet option for attaching the magnets.
